About Me

My photo

I love hammering gold, silver, copper, brass, and bronze into amazing textured custom rings, custom wedding rings, engagement rings, and other unique artisan jewelry.  I have an extensive selection of men's and women's rings, along with gemstone and pearl jewelry in my SilverSmack shop on Etsy.  Please stop in and take a look.

A Poem I wrote

Beyond Semi-precious

Lapidolite, Dumorterite, Iolite

even the sedimentary syllables shine

nutured by nature

colored by the earth

fossilized blooms

petrified sunsets

It was so fun using different metals together. I've only ever used silver. The copper and brass compliment each other nicely.

It was fun to experiment with different textures too. One layer has a brushed sunburst finish and the other has a hammered finish.

Cool. I really want to get into metalsmithing. I have put a lot of money into stamping metals, but have yet to create my own designs (other than stamping the words on!)

It's always fun to try new things! And even better when you find out how much you like the new technique :)
